LA Dreaming Camp

SOPAC team athletes Asha Ring, Kira Long and Ned Cane were invited by NSW Swimming last week to attend the LA Dreaming Camp. A joint initiative between NSW and QLD, the athletes were challenged with various race scenarios, training strategies and to identify priority areas of development that they intend to take back to their home programs.
The camp was designed to expose the athletes to their standards of elite level swimming and to raise their awareness by looking at the strengths and weaknesses of other athletes from across NSW and QLD.
Sharks Squad Camp

Heidi and Caitlyn along with Coach Daniel were selected as part of the NSW
Swimming Sharks Squad to attend a 3 day immersive camp at the AIS.
It was an
amazing opportunity jam packed with education, team activities, race scenarios,
skill development and a whole lot more!
Congratulations
to Heidi, Caitlyn and Coach Daniel and a big shoutout to NSW Swimming for
affording athletes and coaches these moments to grow.
